If u want to be awake at night u have to sleep in the day. If u do not get a desired sleep ur body will not function properly.
Eat ur dinner early.
The quantity should be half or less.
save the balance which u may require later in the night.
Eat in installments.
Keep an alarm that honks every half an hour. so u r sure to switch off before honking.
If your exam is in the next day morning u r straining tooooooo much. It it is in the noon then it is fine u can get up late.

Pulling all nighters is not a good way to retain information for a test. Try studying for the test a week and a half before the exam (a little bit a day). If you really must stay up, try taking 10 minute mini naps. They re-energize you naturally (you get more energy but won't feel sleepy because your body hasn't fallen asleep yet). College for me was lots of studying--but I learned that the best way is to just study as you go....which means, when you have free time, instead of going on yahoo answers, try taking this time to review! :)

Ignore the person that said to take ecstasy, especially if you plan on living to graduate. Please. Any pills are a bad idea actually.
All-nighters aren't the best way to study, because you're gonna be so tired by the time your test comes and it's harder to retain information. But I know sometimes you can't help but pull an all-nighter, and in that case snack on real food- not sugar! You'll get a temporary surge of energy from sugar, and then you'll totally get drained after a bit. (Caffeine's kind of the same way, so that's why it doesn't work for you.) So snack on vegetables, fruit, that kind of thing. Good luck!

Hey, do not do this all the time, but only do it when you need to stay up and keep falling asleep. My husband is a truck driver, and every once in awhile he takes a pill called no-doze. You should be able to get some at a truck stop, or a gas station. You may even be able to get it at a pharmacy. Not sure. I know how it is trying to stay up. I'm a freshman in college this year. It's tough. I have only used it once, but it kepp my bright -eyed for about 4 hrs. Hope this helps!!!

I discovered towards the end of my university years that it was easier for me to go to sleep early, around 9:00 pm and get up really, really early, sometimes 3:00 or 4:00 am. It might be less time to study but you are more aware of everything around you so you don't have to fight studying and the desire to sleep at the same time.

Take a nap earlier in the day. Try a cool shower. Drink some herbal tea.
Just a little advice..... DO NOT take pills to stay awake.
Back in high school, a fellow classmate overdosed on "No-Doze". Unfortunately, he did not live to see daylight.
