i am making a cd and they want liner notes and where do they go? on the back or front of cd cover.

The liner notes usually go on the inside front cd cover .Detailed info about who ,what , regarding the cd you've made .Who did,the artwork,the music,etc .Also the back cover can be used for song titles .(For quick Reference)

Customarily,the cd layout is normally album art on the front,credits on the back and liner notes on the inside. You also find lyrics,fanclub addresses and such.Basically,the liner notes are the info bits inside your music...

I would think it would just be the booklet, it seems that is how I have heard it to be. But I suppose it may depend on who you talk to, even amoung graphic artists who design the thing.

Liner notes are the stuff that's written inside, usually thanks and acknowledgments from the band.
