Yes I am racist. I try hard not to be but i have had to deprogram myself from years of indoctrination as a child by racist family members. Each time I hear myself come out with a racist view or especially when someone else points it out to me that a view I have expressed could be construed as racist, I try and purge it from my psyche. I hate racism and racists and I hate it in me. I try to seek it out and destroy it from my thoughts and beliefs. There is no way I want my children to go through the same things. I want them to grow up in the future world that was dreamt of by Rev. King.
I have to say 'So spill it whitey!' is racially offensive to me. But perhaps it isn't considered to be offensive by people who are not white. I think this is the kind of casual racism to which you are referring and perhaps you should be careful not to prove to be guilty of it yourself.

every one is racict some. I see it every day. Where I work the hispanics make cracks about the blacks. The blacks make cracks about whites ( crackers can't dance), whites don't make any kind of racist coment due to the fact that they will lose their jobs at the first complaint. The reason everyone says whites are racist is because we are the ones that everyone watches. I've seen it happen several times. Other races will be making cracks about each other and white guys but as soon as a white guy says something they are yelling racict. I know that the reason is they are afraid of white racicts because of how they have been treeted tin the past but it still is not right for them to be able to say what ever they want and not have any regard to how we feel. We are force to think about how they feel and if we don't we are gone.

I have a theory that everyone, white or not, is a little racist.
I don't consider myself racist. I will say, though, that it bothers me that I notice that there are black people out there (not all, by any means) who will behave in a racist manner to me before I do to them, and even though I wouldn't typically do it, I get defensive and do/say/think things that I wouldn't normally.
Makes no sense, I know.

Human beings in general are nasty to each other. Religious groups criticise other religious groups, tall people criticise short people, thin people criticise fat people and vice-versa. White people are racist just as black people are racist, we just concentrate more on white people because of the white people's terrible behaviour towards black people in the past. However, if the roles had been reversed the same thing would have happened - humanity still has a long way to go; not just whites, but everybody.

Well let see this question is a tad racist!
and everyone has some form of racist in them i mean predjust i can't spell it! and spell check sucks! :)
but i am white! i work in a black company! the fact that i seperate this and point this out to you shows that i have a slight racest thing but everytime we point out that a person is white or black that is the racist in someone!
but overall no i'm not racist! if anything i'm with the black people they have larger hearts then most white people! cuz white people think that they are ontop of the game! and black people just need the feeling fo acceptence even tho they are accepted hell everyone is accepted...
So no i'm not! :)
over all at least!
:)
Mad luv dude!

I believe that all people no matter what there race or beliefs for that matter are prejudiced in some way. If they weren't it would mean that they didn't strongly believe in anything. I don't believe I am racist, but I do stereotype some groups of people. For example I don't believe child molesters can be reformed... anyway the comment your friend made makes him a little prejudiced, possibly racists, Ive seen it in all colors. its time to look beyond skin tone and look at people for who they are

There is a totally natural in-built biological fear of things that are different from us. It's what stops most of us being eaten by tigers. So in some sense, yes, we all do "prejudge" other people on a physical level quite early on based on that. However, that is very different from being racist as that term is a prejudice based on an intolerance or arrogance, which is a level not everynody takes it to.

Im not a whitey but I tend to say racist @hit about crackers all the time. I guess what ever race you are you tend to say racist things about the opposite race. I even have my 6 year old calling my 1/2 white brother a cracker. (bad mom, shame on me)

I think blacks have a different culture than whites and it makes a barier yes. When I see young black men dressed in 'thug' atire I think they're up to no good. But that doesn't bother me that much as long as they leave me alone. I don't trust white people in the same clothes either. I work with many blacks and i say whats on my mind no matter how it sounds. being a 6'5" 230 lbs white guy who is always armed with a 9mm gives me the right to say whats on my mind. If I say something and a black man takes it the wrong way, well, thats his ****** problem just as it would be a white guys. I think blacks take things the wrong way on purpose sometimes just to get a fight going. I can tell you for 100% sure that this white guy will take that fight and not stop until I make that person think twice about talking **** again.
lastly, why do black people have to be so loud? I can never go into a store with black people and not hear them thirty feet away. black people are entirely to loud.
