Ok try this and it SHOULD work. Take a shower before bed and put gel/mousse/spray in it while its wet. Then get a bunch of little clips and make twirls all over your hair and put them up with the clips. Set them high on your head so that in the morning its fuill of body. Make sure your hair isnt soaking when you go to bed though because it might still be wet when you wake up, and you might catch a cold :o) Then when u wake up take the clips out and style it how you want! Please try and say if it worked!

Get a perm, not too tight just enough to get it curly. Then, in addition to that curl your hair with a curling iron. This may sound wierd, but your hair maybe to healthy and needs to have a little damage. That damage will make your hair more porous, in which you will be able to hold a curl much better. Another idea are the krimping irons, you can get the wavy ones. Those will definitely get some waves happening. Good luck! Be sure to add a bit of thermal spray or a little bit of hair spray before you curl the strands. That will help too!

You need to make sure you use hairspray and maybe mouse before you start using a curling iron. Also you can use rollers and then the curling iron to fix any curls that did not come out the way you liked them.

my hair was moderately wavy and too thick to try fooling with a curling iron, so i had it permed. a body wave (perm) makes it wavy and you can specify at the salon what size you want, but BE SURE TO GET GOOD SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER if you opt for that road, though it can get costly. if you just get it wavy, it will be easy to straighten with a hot iron if you want to make it straight for a little bit.

use styling mouse on wet hair. then putt your wet hair in braids and sleep on it. this will give anyone waves. the bigger the braids, the looser the waves. make sure to braid from the top of your head, and do NOT brush it. use a pick.
you can do the same thing with old fasioned soft curlers and sleep on them. its a pain, but it will WORK even on the straightest of hair.
and with a little hair spray, it will stay ALL DAY!!

use hair spray when it's on the iron just spritz it a little. That will stiffen it up. Or get a body wave perm.

the two take a bathtub in the previous you pass to mattress and positioned your hair in lots of tight braids for greater curly or... fewer braids for purely wavy. or you additionally can attempt slumbering along with your moist hair in a messy bun. that's what I do. :)

My hair used to be completely straight, and very fine.. when I started cutting it really short, it grew in much thicker, and now it has a bit of a wave to it. Annoying really, I liked my hair straight.
