You don't need college to be a sportscaster. Most sportscasters start out as athletes, coaches, or journalists. If you are not a pro caliber athlete, your best bet is to go to journalism school or to try and get a job at a newspaper.

Most of the larger state universities have good journalism programs, and you'll have to get into the college before you get into the journalism program. You should try to attend a journalism school that is near a media center like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, or other large city where there may be internship opportunities to help build a resume.

Some suggestions: USC, UCLA, Columbia, NYU, Northwestern, Stanford, Illinois, Indiana, Georgia, Miami, etc. Pay attention in particular to those J schools that have good electronic media facilities.

For some reason I truthfully have a concern with the TNT broadcasters, greenback Martinez and whoever does the play-by ability of-play with him. They lined the pink Sox interior the ALDS the final 2 years besides. Tim McCarver is yet another one, yet i can deal. lady sideline journalists, agreed. The lowpoint became a pair of years in the past whilst the Patriots have been enjoying the Vikings on MNF and that that they had the sideline reporter interior the Viking clubhouse exhibiting whose locker became next to whose--on an identical time as play became on. So i think you are able to provide the manufacturers some blame besides.
