It's not the coffee but an easy way to cure Anemia is a cheeseburger, a steak or an iron suppliment.

"Coffee interferes with the absorption of iron. However, moderate intake of coffee (4 cups per day) may not increase the risk of iron-deficiency anemia if the diet contains adequate amounts of iron and vitamin C."

I drink a pot of coffee a day.. why would you think of attaching this extra importance to coffe? You may want to check on why you are not obtaining iron in your system. It has to combine with something in the blood.. If that factor is low, you will not retain the iron you are taking in.

no, one cup a day is not doing it.

Try taking supplements or eating raisins. Some people just have iron poor blood, but it's not the coffee. A nutritionist can help you too if you don't like taking supplements. Good luck!

I seriously doubt it. I donate blood when I can and they always check the iron content of your blood before you can donate. I asked them once if they get many people that don't have enough iron in their blood and she told me that its usually women depending on what time of the month it is in relationship to their period. You should be able to increase the iron in your blood through diet but I wouldn't worry about the coffee.

Check out the web md. com

I doubt if coffee would do this.

Perhaps it is what you are not eating and vitamins you are not taking. Keep a journal of your daily intake for severl weeks, and
check it out.
