What the hell has happened to smarties?!! Have you tasted them? How sickly! Especially the green! I saved them up to give to my partner - he thought they tasted like battery acid, i reckon its leaves. and where are the blues? Not even the orange are very orangey. I'm all for no additives but not when it just totally destroys a once awesome sweet

Makes sense really, they took away the original tube, because despite several generations of children being able to manage to eat smarties from it with-out killing themselves, some idiot decided it had to be changed, now they have removed all the artificial flavours and colours etc so that you can't get hyper on them anymore!
Stop buying them I say, then maybe these companies will get the message to leave our established confectionery alone!
Hands off they are our Smarties!!!!

They took all the artificial colour out of them so they probably do taste different. There was no natural blue colourant, so the blue smarties were down the dumper I'm afraid.

I have sent a letter to the company and told them that the smarties on the market today are crap,that was 2weeks ago and still nothing from them yet.

I know, they have taken all the artificial colourings away. What now is the fun in giving your friends' kids smarties to make them hyper, when they won't do a damn thing to them now. Just not fair.

i agree, they don't taste like they used to. I don't even give them to my son anymore. Still think the orange ones come out the best though lol!

i no i used to luv da blue ones they were da best but they had all the addatives in em. i aint bought a packet since they took em out!!! grrrrrrr

i agree i got my son some the other day at the airport, first off in some cheap new carton, and horrid, well one good think was he didn't eat them!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe thats their plan!!!!!!!!!!!
