IAM SALVADOREAN AND I LIKE ALL KINDS OF MUSIC...BUT IF YOUR LOOKING FOR THE TYPE OF SPANISH MUSIC I WOULD SAY CUMBIA, MERENGUE, SALSA, BACHATA AND REGGAETON.

We like it all! Salsa, cumbia, merengue and reggaeton. They also like latin country music. We don't hate Mexican music......but "band" music from Mexico isn't too popular in other latin countries.

"Cumbia" is the national music, but from what I've seen, they like every kind of music that anyother latin country would like: merengue, salsa, bachata, reggaeton, baladas...etc....
