Hi!
*If the wedding is in the morning, try to wear pink, blue, green, yellow and purple, but be careful, just light colors ;)
*In the afternoon you can wear a dress with some shine, but just some details.
*At night I think you can wear black, why not? :) It can be a simple dress, just make a beautiful make-up and use a jewel ;)
Have fun girl :)
Sorry if I made some mistakes, I don´t speak English very well, I´m from Brazil hehe.
But anyway I hope I´ve helped you.
Bye bye

I didn't know that black was ever against tradition...
Almost everyone except the bridal party wears black...The classic wedding outfit is usually a simple black dress...so yey you can wear black...I always do!!!

The only color not to wear is white, since it's reserved for the bride.

It is totally fine to wear black to a wedding and most people I know do. It is totally not ok to wear white because that is what the bride wears and sometimes they get pretty angry if someone else is wearing white too.

personally I think that you SHOULD NOT, because the color black is supposed to be known as a dark and scarey kinda feeling. A wedding is a day full of joy and happiness. You shouldnt wear all black, but maybe your pants may be black? Be considerate.

may answer is, ask the bride.

coz she might be offended if you'll wear black, if for her black is a big no-no.

if she answers yes, then go. black is an elegant color plus it makes you slimmer right?

again it depends to the person. ive seen a wedding where the bridesmaids wears black obviously in that case the bride doesnt have bad ideas about it.

Sure you can as long as it isn't something that you feel uncomfortable wearing. If you are going to be in photos you might want to talk to the bride and see if she wants you to wear a color that goes with the wedding. But otherwise wear what you want.

I wore black to my brother's wedding. I was nervous the whole drive there. Then guess what happened. I found out the all the bridesmaids were in classic black dresses. I don't know that I'd have had my bridesmaids in black, but to each their own.

If it is an evening wedding, then it is considered appropriate. I've heard that red isn't a good thing to wear at any wedding.

You can wear black, but make sure that either your shoes or your accessories or your bag or coat are an upbeat color like turquoise, purple, coral, red, etc. Have fun at the wedding!
