I backed out of my garage and ripped my mirror off my new Maxima, I have bumper to bumper and full coverage with a $500 deductable. I'm not mechanically inclined. What is the best way to go?

If there is any damage to the door at all take it to get repaired. Those type of repairs require specialty tools and some repainting. If it's just the mirror, call around to a few wrecking yards and see if you can find a replacement part, or at the dealer. I got one for my car for like $15-20, and then just let a small local shop paint it to match and install it.

I would get an estimate. You would pay the $500, and then the company will use that as an incident on your policy. Premium may not go up now, or later, but if you have other incidents, or get into some in the future, they could use this as part of reason for increase. Weigh the options, and if the repair is like $2500, you might want to turn into your insurance company. Some have accident forgiveness, like first time or under a certain dollar threshold they won't hold it against you.
