I keep getting razor bumps on my bikini line. Its red and itchy. What can I do to stop it? And no more waxing! It hurts too much.

I soak first, then use conditioner.

Use water as warm as you can stand.
Shave in the direction of the hair growth.
Use a NEW razor (as soon as it starts to tug it's time to replace!).
Use a rich liquid soap such as Oil of Olay with Shea Butter.
Put a thick lotion on afterward (like Bath & Body Works Body Butters) or use a cream called Bikini Zone (see below) specifically designed for bikini shaving rash.
Only save every 2-3 days; any more often and you're just scraping the skin raw.
Keep the skin tight when shaving (pull it with your free hand).

Well this is what I do...I run warm water and just lay in the bathtub for about 10 min.s and chill, then get soap and wash yourself to get any dead skin or anything that can cause cuts or anything. Make sure you have a good razor too!! Then apply your shaving cream after you wash the area and shave the way your hair grows. Wash again and soak for alittle bit longer. My "area" always looks spotless and baby soft!! G-luck!

Ouch - I agree, forget the waxing. Make sure you are using a good shave cream, and a SHARP razor. A dull one is not good for this area. Don't press too hard! Apply a soothing lotion afterward - maybe something with aloe vera. Put lotion on the area night and morning - this will help also.

I have the exact same problem. I have very sensitive skin, and I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun. One thing that helps a little is using Veet. I still get some irritation, but it's nothing like I get with shaving and it doesn't last as long.

I get the same thing!! Go to your local Adult store and purchase a thing called "coochie cream". It's made for shaving your private areas and works well. I don't get the "bumps" or itching when I use this cream while shaving.

Use Neosporin after you dry off, I started doing that and all the bumps are gone.

Use hydrogen peroxide as an after shave. Seriously...that's why they make after shave for guys...but you don't see if for girls!
