I love to wear my BIG orange and black striped soccer sox.
i have a prince o3 tour and so the sox match my raquet.
Also i have gotten used to them and i dont mind wearing them anymore.
But the big reason is that it gets into the other players mind and distracts them, its all about the mental part of the game.

I think tennis players don't need to wear socks to the knee because it will influence their comfort and it may be make their step slower. But the soccer player need it to less the injury possibility when they fall because on the court.

No.
They'll look like soccer players. Moreover, there's no practical need for that. The socks will just roll down after a while.

I think whatever is more comfortable for the player to wear. Personally...I think it would be distracting. But if you've been playing with them for a long time, or you play soccer, I don't think it matters. Whatever fits the player best.

No way it would probably distract them when those socks go down
