Well I have three piercings in each ear.
I usually wear small silver studs at the top, the next ones down are a symbol like moons, stars for my destiny and then I wear silver hoops because my hair is really short and I like the feel of them banging against my upper cheecks.

I like vintage chandelier earrings. Even if you're wearing all black, or an understated outfit, the earrings can make the whole outfit, and bring attention to your face.

I have 00g steel plugs (very heavy to wear but I love 'em) They are solid steel, no design
I have 2g steel tunnels in my lobes as well and then 6g horseshoes.
I have other cartilage piercings as well, but I won't ramble on.

earlettes and flesh tunnels... i had 1" earlettes in my ears but i got tired of it for now...
of course once i get interested again oh wow that's going to hurt.
