cuz im the only mexican on my JV team (football). I know race doesn't matter but i really want some other mexicans on the team too you know but im actually the only mexican on JV and i feel real lonely. What should i do? i don't wanna quit

I AM NOT PREJUDICE! on the real i just would feel better if i had some mexicans on JV thats all s h i t how would you feel if you had NOTHIN but mexicans on ur team and ur the only white person yeah can't say that im prejudice now

You feel comfortable within your own culture. No problem. But people of other cultures on the team (nationality and race) may share some of the same interests and feelings that you have and connecting with one of them on that level is likely to help you feel less alone, even if you do not get another Mexican player on the JV.

There is nothing wrong with you wanting more of your race on the team! I used to play basketball in a school of all whites(I'm black) and I felt the same way! I just had to adjust tho because no more blacks moved to the school. Just try to adjust and get along with your team mates. Make it the best year you've ever had! DO YOUR BEST IN EVERYTHING!!! wow....I'm Puerto Rican and when I played football in High School a few years ago....I was the only non-black player on the team.....but it didn't bother me....just get used to your teammates...and you won't even worry about having other Mexicans on the team. Good Luck this season.

No I don't think that you are raciest. You just feel weird, because you are the only one of your race on the team. I'm sorry you feel that way. But don't quit. Not because of that. If you need a friend I am here to talk.
