It seems like there is no money spent on keeping Taco Bell restaurants clean, and the dining rooms are outdated with damaged furniture and fixtures. They don't upgrade anything or remodel, ever. The restaurants are really filthy and outdated and run-down. It's this way in every Taco Bell in my area (I'm talking more than 10 stores). Is it like this in other areas? If not, what gives?

I bet they'll be redone soon. I'm in NW Ohio and all our have been completely redone - almost 15-20 of them.

The Taco Bells in my city are pretty bad too. They are run down and the people there are too! They're pretty rude and could care less about things like customer satisfaction or common decency or anything. It wouldn't suprise me if I orded a mexican pizza and the guy behind the counter said, "And would you like that with or without my pubic hair?"

However, when I go to the next town over, the stores are nice and so are the workers! So I guess it's just a crap shot as to which kind of Taco Bell your area has. Maybe eat at McDonald's for a while?

No, the Taco Bells in my area are decent. All restaurants have to have a certain appearance and neatness because they get frequent visits from the Health Inspectors. They have to have an inspection score of and 85% or better to remain open and if they don't fix or clean up whatever is making their score low, the state will close them down but that is in Georgia. If you are really concerned about it, ask the manager can you see their recent health score and by law, they have to show it to you. If it is below 85%, tell the manager that you want to get the name and number of the franchise owner. Call the owner and tell the owner what you experienced and how unclean the restaurant is. I'm sure if the owner hears directly from the customer (you) they will do something about it.

Other Taco Bells are not like that. I would write a letter to the tb headquarters and give them a list of the locations and what is wrong with them. Then I would find somewhere else to eat. Contact the health department for the ones that are dirty, then maybe they will start to make an effort to keep things clean.

It must be that way all across America. Everywhere I've ever been, Taco Bell has been pretty poorly kept! I don't understand it, either. They have delicious food, but they are horribly dirty. They look as if they haven't been cleaned or upgraded since the 80's!!!
The Cheesy Gordilla Crunch is mighty tasty, though...!

I've visited Taco Bells both in Texarkana and Longview, Texas, and they are all clean, and the help at the counter is amazing! I'm thinking, being a chain, it's the local owners that are the problem. They are probably owned by one or two people, and maybe they just don't take care of them.

I've been living in this city for about a year, and I've probably been to Taco Bell twice! Although I prefer "real mexican food", my kids love it! It's pretty clean at the one out here! Sorry to hear about the ones by your house. Why don't you call the main headquarters and complain?

you know why you won't see a Gay man at Taco Bell?
A: Because they can't thnk outside the buns.
