Break into her apartment and steal all of her blouses. Replace them with identical shirts from TJ Maxx, except make them one size larger. Compliment her on how good she looks since she started losing weight. It'll work like a charm.

Yikes! Well, you probably don't want to tell her THAT way, or she won't be your girlfriend for much longer. Maybe you could point out an outfit on a mannequin or model next time you're at the mall, someone who's wearing an outfit that you feel would flatter your girlfriend's body type more than the shirts she wears, and you could just be like, "Honey, that would look amazing on you!" Or you can buy her a couple of new, less form-fitting tops for Christmas. You're in luck because the new fashion is for tops to be way baggier and longer than they used to be. One thing that concerns me, though, is how strongly you apparently feel about your girlfriend's weight. I really hope you don't make her feel bad about it, because nothing plummets a girl's self-esteem like a negative comment from her boyfriend. It's one thing to suggest working out together or something if you're genuinely concerned about her health, but I hope you still are able to love her for the person she is inside, no matter how trite that sounds. I think buying her some flattering new tops without mentioning WHY you're buying them might be just the wake-up call she needs.

Tell me about it. A lot of girls, or women, where very short midriff tops, with tight pants and a gut sticking out, as if they were pregnant.
I don't understand this. Do they not have any shame?
They are strangers to me, but I feel like going up to them to say something, but I don't have the nerve.
Do you tell your girlfriend this, and she still doesn't care?
Maybe they should make a "law".

Maybe you should just be honest with her. If you think this would be too forward, suggest that the two of you start working out together. Make it seem as if this is something that you want to do and ask her to join you. Afterall, working out is better if you do it with a partner. I don't know, commenting on a woman's body is always a touchy subject. Good luck!

Well for girls its really hard to except when your gaining weight, don't say it directly but let her know that its okay to wear a size bigger. In fact you should take her
shopping and let her try on cute shirts that you choose. Like that she can realize that she can wear bigger shirts yet still look cute!

I knew a guy with a similar problem!!! Get one of her friends to tell her to cover up.....Buy her a few pretty shirts.....( THAT FIT HER) Tell her you don't like her shirts, say they are too revealing and you don't like other guys looking at her. Just be nice about it, or get one of her friends to drop the bomb.
*** Or, if ya don't like it...DONT LOOK!!!
