dude, it depends on what kinds of games you are trying to play. Are you trying to play games that only come out on the PS3? Or, are you trying to play games that only come out on the Wii like Zelda:Twilight Princess, Rayman, Umbrella Chronicles, etc... I personally am more hyped about the Wii because of all the innovative new technology that will make gaming more fun. Although, I do intend to eventually get the PS3 for the RPG's out there and for the blue-ray player. Not to mention, since it is a blue-ray, I can only imagine how sweet the graphics will look-but I wonder how many years it will actually take game developers to utilize all of that space that is available under the blue-ray disc. So, I guess it all sums up to what kind of games you are trying to play.

The inovation of the Wii's motion sensor will make for a new and refreshing game play. It is also significantly cheaper at $250 as compared to the PS3's $500 and $600. The playstation will be good, but it will be best to wait a year because the games will be better by then and it might go down in price. Plus you will not be able to get one around christmas without paying an arm and a leg for it on eBay.

Get a 360 and a Wii. The 2nd generation of 360 games will be evenly matched with PS3's 1st generation titles. The Wii is going to be a must have whether you get a 360 or a PS3. Look at how awesome a game like Guitar Hero is with its unique play style. Wii is going to be filled with games that offer that same level of pick-up and play fun for everyone game play.

If it's for you and you are asking someone else to buy it...I say ps3 so that way YOU aren't the one dishing out $600 on it. If you are buying it for someone else or even for yourself then the Wii since it's MUCH cheaper.
I'm looking foward to both of them and think that either is going to be an awesome choice. If you are looking for something innovative, go with Wii. Want something that is going to have a bazillion and one games, then go with the Ps3!!!

I'd go with the Wii, because Nintendo has proven time and time again that they make quality and FUN games. PS3 looks like a powerful machine, but its waaaay too expensive and if you dont have an HDTV set, then Blu Ray is useless.

dude nintendo wii but it doesn't matter if u want ps3 that system is so over priced 1 2game play is ok at best and three all reserves r taken so u r not getting one plus wii go on youtube.com type in wii trailer and watch it's amazing

PS3 is already sold out for the christmas season, and it's also incomplete (at least if you are hd)
the WII tries to abolish couch potatoism and reserves are going fast if there not gone already

Nintendo Wii! Cheaper, and it seems like it has a lot more cool features! I'd def get it if I weren't addicted to WoW. I think I'm going to anyways, actually. Can't wait. ;)

PS3 will be great but its too expensive and all the features wont be out atleast 6 month.
