I did one of these with the Jr. Miss Scholarship program - I wore my hair half up and half down, it shouldn't be in your face. no heave make-up, very light and neutral colors... no exotic jewelery, simple earrings and I wore a pearl necklace. - Nothing that's too bold. - As far as clothing, either a nice dress or pant suit...anything you'd wear to church would be fine. Minimal makeup and jewelry, no pastel colors, blak or navy blue , tones of gray and brown. Preferrably a pant suit with a tailored shirt underneath a nicely fitted jacket.
Low healed closed toe shoes. Like a pump with a medium height heel.
No oversprayed or teazed hair. No overpowering perfume. Fingernails neat and clean, probably not a good idea to have superlong painted nails, a french manicure looks good.

Wear a pair of black pants with a button up shirt. If you don't feel comfortable in button up shirts try wearing a tank top under and only button the bottom buttons. Also wear dress shoes that are comfortable. I would wear my hair down. Just remember that you will be moving around and sitting alot so don't wear shoes that you can't walk in or pants that you can't sit in.

a very smart pant suit - hair simple pulled back in a low ponytail, make up very light and airy and simple jewelry. Beautiful pair of gold earrings and a wrist watch.
