WOW, no offence, but if you were pregnant when you met, he could have raised that baby as his own, but, I guess whats done is done. You may have a harder time becuase of the procedure, it may just take longer. Karma happens, maybe it will take you a longer time to be given the gift of a child again. Sorry to seem judgemantal, I usually don't say too much about peoples situations, but no offense, that is pretty sad. Don't really feel like giving you tips on getting prego, sorry.

Generally, the best time to conceive is about 2 weeks after tour period starts. (like you said, about 14 days). Use a calender and on the day you START your period, write it down. Count fourteen days from that day and "make love" for a few days in a row. Lay in bed after-wards for about 45 minutes each time the two of you "do" anything. This should help to make you become pregnant.

As far as the 9 day period thing, I cant help you there. You really outta go see your Doctor just to have a check-up and make sure it is okay for you to become pregnant again. I have heard that it is not healthy to conceive within a year after a miscarriage because your body take time to return to its normal self. That could explain the nine day period. I do not know it it is the same with an abortion, but I would imagine so since your body went through the same changes.

Good luck and maybe in a month or so you will be caring a baby! Remember to take care of yourself, in order to take care of your baby. Let me know if my advice helps you any.

i am slightly curious as to who's idea it was to have the abortion as it wasn't his baby.....but i digress.

please go see a doctor. and not the same doctor that gave you the abortion. tell the doctor everything so it can be determined whether or not you had an infection from the abortion or possibly a miscarriage. then let the doctor know you are intending to get pregnant again. this will allow him to make a decision on what medicines to give you. he may ask that you withhold ffrom getting pregnant just to allow your body to heal. when you disrupt your body from a natural occurance, you confuse it. which may be how your body is reacting. and when i say you, it could have been a miscarriage and not an abortion and your body would have reacted the same way. so please don't think i am pointing any fingers.

as for the dating time, don't use that discouragement. i "dated" my husband for a 2 months before he was trying to get me to have his baby. now we are married and expecting our bundle of joy in 3 months.

What you had in October may have been a miscarriage. A lot of times after abortion your body has multiple miscarriages. Some women can never even have another child because of having an abortion. I don't have any advice because I never had an abortion and never will.

Shame on you.Having a abortion because you wanted it the right way. What does that mean? What if you get pregnant and he leaves you? What then? Your insides are probably messed up fro getting a baby ripped from your insides

You need to get checked to make sure the abortion did not mess up any thing and then you can buy an ovulation test at yhe local drugstore to tell you when you are most fertile to get preg
