A few years ago I went to Disneyworld for the first time. There I rode this really cool wild ride called The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. In it, an elevator car goes up and down unpredictably. I remember it being pretty fast and wild. I also am sure I remember it sometimes going down twice before going back up and so on so it's extra unpredictable. I went back to Disneyworld twice this year and rode it a bunch of times. It seems a lot slower and more predictable. Is that because I rode it so many times and now I have it memorized or did they really make it weaker? I wish they'd put it back the way it was.

They did change the drop sequences. It now randomly selects from several drop profiles, some of which definently seem more intense or "faster" than the others. Far as I know it is still a faster than gravity fall.

When you first enter the tower, you'll be ushered into a preshow room where you'll watch a video with the "story" of the Hollywood Hills Hotel (the Tower of Terror). When you exit this room, you'll be back in line while you wait to board an elevator. After you're all strapped in, the elevator will go up- don't worry, you're not at the drop yet. You'll see the ghost family from the video and your ride vehicle will move forward. You'll pass some Twilight Zone scenery and props, and then the vehicle will stop in the complete dark. When you see a thin line of light move like an elevator door opening, get ready, because it's finally time! The ride is on a random track, so the drops are different each time you go on it, but expect to drop down, go back up, and drop down again around four or five times. Then you're down...if you survived!

I saw a special on TV about the Tower of Terror. On the special an engineer was saying it's about 12-15 different ride series, so it should be different everytime someone rides.

Supposedly a child died on the ride, so they have altered the ride.
