I've just known that a person I knew died in an accident (run over by a truck)in Las Vegas on the 1st January 1997.Is there any web site where I can get information about that if I put in his name?

I highy doubt that coz confidential information like is no posted online. I suggest u go to the police station where the accident file was reported and try to get info from there.

Contact the Clark county coroner's office, and try looking in local Las Vegas newspapers for that time period.

the best place is a library they keep newpaper articles now on computer at least here they do, you should be able to get some info.
