I like it!! Seem's like someone didn't and gave everyone who DOES like it a thumb's down!! (I gave thumb's UP)

I love the name's that are unusual but not ridiculous!

Do you have a middle name picked? Zia Marie would be nice! Or Zia Justene! Good luck!!

It would suit a little, elfish, dark-haired girl, I think. I would also consider the surname: Smith would get a little lift, for instance, but something exotic would go with Zia rather well. But only if the syllables of the two names were different, for euphony.

Hi
Zia is the feminine variant of the male name ZIYA

It is Derived from Arabic diya meaning "splendour, light, glow".

Incidentally this was the name of a 14th-century Islamic Indian historian.

A Nice name , blessings to you & your baby

Looks an unusual name. And would cause some problems if the person goes to Italy......in Italian ZIA means "aunt".

Wasn't that the name of a former President of Pakistan?I know the spelling is a bit different,Zhia, but it's pronounced the same.I don't think Zia is a good idea.

I hope you know that "Zia" is a boy's name and is usually an Arabic name. Its pronounced DIYA in Arabic meaning "Light" or "illumination". Check out this website for the meaning of the name.

If you choose to call her Zia then give her a couple of other names to go with it,so when she gets older she has a choice of what to call herself.
