Yes of course places like topshop and river island stock bigger sizes than an 18. in this day and ages you are not one size and thats it people vary quite abit in sizing. Most shops should have a range of clothes larger not everyone is a size 8-14. I am really tall for being a female and trying to find clothes to fit me is very difficult also, i am certainly no size 10 nor size 18! shop is impossible.

May i also say that the comments from nny, homegirlinnevada's and shayney boy all of these comments are so wrong in my opinion. have a look at people today young and old are there the perfect size 10 no. Dont say diet this is a huge fad nowadays diet does not solve everything. its is so called celebs that put been skinny in so called fashion.

Everyone has a choice/opinion and it is there lifestyle choice.

So bascially shop should provide for all ranges of people shape/sizes!

I have no idea what those stores are or where they are located. However, there are specifically stores which cater to larger sizes (i.e. Lane Bryant and Avenue to name a few). What looks right in some sizes does not in other sizes. There are some stores which have a 'plus size' section - I think a few of these are Fashion Bug, Dress Barn, and Deb. And department stores have sections for each size. A good friend of mine wears a size much larger than 18 and finds most of her clothes at Fashion Bug and Kohl's. So really, I don't think there's a need for additional stores to stock larger clothes, there are already plenty out there.

Yes of course they should now adays they Average size is a 16 and still their are plasses and makes that don't sell up to a 16 which is shocking also alot more women are becoming over weight and are a larger size so Yes they should start selling clothes in a larger size. i Also think they should start selling Larger shoe sizes aswell i mean i am a size 10 UK shoe size and there is only one shop in Britain i can get shoes which is Evans but even then Sometimes they don't fit or they never have them in Stock it is Very Frushtrating as i am only 17 and like young Trendy shoes and heels but can never find them.

I would have to say yes. Because I am 21 and I like to wear younger looking clothes and most of the stores that have young clothes only go to a size 12. I am a 16 or 18 up to what I am wearing. So I really think that stores could make more money but making clothes for the real woman than what they think women really look like or what they want women to look like.

Yes indeed, esp as a greater number of women are size 16 or above. Also, you could be a size 16 and in proportion - check out larger builds etc.

The boot problem can be rectified by buying stretchy boots - Next do some, or try Evans or Duo.

yes particularly in the way they make boots. Im a saize 12-14 but have very muscly calves and cannot fit them into boots, they need to make them with the tops wider, not just different sizes in the foot. Also they dont seem to realise that larger girls have larger legs and only make the waist a bigger size. Annoys the hell out of me, Not everyone is the perfect skinny shape are they.

Yes! its not fair for them to openly discriminate against larger women. it gives a negative image to young women like myself. By only stocking upto size 18, it means we think that beng anywhere near that size means that we cant get the clothes we want and are looked on as fat. People are always commenting on teenage eating disorders, but there is little happeneing and this does not help!

Absolutely, my mum quite often has to go to the internet sites to get her clothes or buy something that's kinda plain so she can fit in it. She isnt fat and she now goes to the gym but i would really like to go shopping with her into those kinds of shops and come out with her happy as a clam. That i would just love to see.
-i just dont think they should put them in the windows because it might deter other customers and if they dont get money in then it might close and mum wont be happy no moree : (.
