I had a D & C on Wed. to remove a mass. On the same day I was starting my period. Now two days after the D & C I am having bleeding (not spotting) and I am not sure if I am on my period or if this is a a sign the D & C has caused complications. What do you think?

Bleeding after a D & C is common. It is the scraping of the walls of the uterus. They will have to start the healing before the bleeding will stop.

Just consider it one big period. Through the years I had three for endometrial problems and every one behaved differently than the last.

I think I would need a doctor to guarentee its my mensies before I rest easy. A d and c is the same method used for abortions which can be botched so better make sure your doctor didn't maim you.

I bled for three weeks after having a D&C, as long as you are not bleeding to heavily you should not have anything to worry about!
