your baby and your body know the perfect time to go into labor. You should really wait until your due date. If you go into labor beforehand ok but I wouldn't induce. Inducing also hurts like crazy. Pitocin is a real *****.

This is something you need to discuss with your doctor. You're considered full term once you are 37 weeks. However, induction will most likely fail unless your cervix is favorable. Also, inducing labor greatly increases the chance of further intervention such as having a c-section instead of a vaginal delivery.
Unless there is a medical reason for inducing labor such as high blood pressure or gestational diabetes it is usually best to wait for the baby to arrive on his or her own schedule.

Some people plan it out that way. But I agree with the other girl who says the baby is best being born on its own. I am at 36 weeks right now and really want the baby out. I know my belly is gonna get bigger and I am miserable, but, if the baby will be healthier, then my comfort is not an issue... It will be over soon enough. Hey, you only have like 7 weeks to go. You are on the home stretch!!! enjoy it and just enjoy the time you do have right now.

You can try, but unless you have a medical problem in which induction is necessary, doctors dont like to induce untill atleast 37 weeks, the reason for this is to make sure the baby is full term...

It really is best if you wait for the baby to come on it's own. The Dr isn't going to induce you until he/she knows they will have a healthy baby. Unless you are having health issues there is no need to rush it.

It is never wrong to ask your doctor anything When it comes to the health of you and your child.
Just make sure you are honest with him about why you want to do this. He should know enough about your situation to make an informed decision.
Good luck and congrats on the baby

u really can ask ur doctor anything u want- but just keep in mind that the more time the baby is in the womb the healthier that baby will be- unless of course u have to have an induction done due to a serious health related risk to u or ur baby- good luck, and be patient.

I know being that pregnant is hard and annoying and you're achy and still and swollen. But every day that your baby stays inside you, the better off he/she is. Why not just wait until your due date, and then talk about getting induced. C'mon, take one for the team!

They usually don't induce labour unless you are very overdue or for medical reasons. The best and healthiest place for your unborn child to be is in the womb - keep it there as long as possible.
