how do i know which ones i use and which ones i dont.

the best way is to go to the Add/Remove programs, Start>Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs. It is specified here, how often you used the program, and be able to delete, the programs that you do not use.

Don't disable any devices unless they are causing conflicts.
