That can be said for most sports, football, tennis, golf, squash. Just because Baseball is not as energetic as other sports doesn't mean its not a sport.

Baseball. A sport for fat people with addictions to tobacco chewing and steroids
Basketball - A sport for freaks of nature with squeaky shoes
American Football - A sport for people too fat and wussy to play Rugby
Cricket - A sport for people with far too much time on their hands and a great washing powder for whites that are whiter than white
Football - A sport for gentleman played by hooligans
Rugby - A sport for hooligans played by gentlemen.
Tiddly-winks - The only sport England can still win.
Oh and the ball travels about the same speed in Cricket to the one who went on about 100mph stuff. Except in cricket it bounces and hitting the guy in the head is part of the fun of it.

I agree with the guy about 100 mph. So what ? It just sails past the the batter. Most of the time it's strike 1, 2 or 3. A big thing is made if he connects which is way too rare. STUPIDEST SPORT. I agree and then they say let's play ball...Jeez..Give the rest of the world a break. Thank God it's only played in the USA and some stupid provinces/villages.

Yes it's a sport! Duh... It is very athletic too, participate in just one practice and see if its a sport.
