I'm at work and my monthly friend visitor just got here. I am honestly having the worst cramps ever. I can't actually go to the store for at least 2 hours, the only thing I have is Aspirin would that help any at all?
Thanks.

oh they're really bad. I'm about to just ask to go home....I sit by the computer so sitting down is NOT helping at all. I'm afraid to go get a soda or anything I've actually read caffeine makes cramps a lot worse.

Yes it will work and will be ok to use, just don't use it regularly for your condition because it does thin the blood which might not be such a good idea if you are bleeding. Feel for you, am in the same boat!

Actually, believe it or not, Midol PMS' main ingredient is caffeine! Have some! I always take 2 Advil for cramps and go to bed. They'll be gone when you wake up. Or, you could bear it out, go home and go to bed. They'll still be gone when you awake. When my "Aunt Flow" first started to visit, I had the hardest times. I always missed 1 day of school a month. It made my stomach hurt so bad- I mean a full blown sickness! Throwing up, poohing, shaking. Yeah, but birth control keeps the sickness down so much more!

caffeine works for cramps! If you have access to either coffee or tea (my favorite) at work then drink plenty now. Aspirin thins the blood in our system ... I personally wouldn't take that.

If you know your cycle, i hear you should take MIDOL a few days before its to begin and cramping should be lessoned. Also, try going for walks or exercising.
Heating a towel in the oven or a hot water bottle (are they extinct now) will also help.

I'd recommend Advil, Motrin or Aleve instead. Generic forms of these work as well, imo.
If you can, get one of those instead. Usually 2 or 3 Motrin pills works for me. Speak to a pharmacist and see what they say.
Feel better.

Yes, the aspirin should work, but dont keep taking them because they are actually not good for your stomach. Advil or Midol works the best for me.

Aspirin is no good for that time of the month. Since it has anti-clotting agents, it will make your menstrual flow increase. Take ibuprofen, instead.

Ibuprofin works best for me. Take 2 or 3 at the beginning to "knock out" the pain and get it under control.

Aspirins never helped me unless I took 4, but you might not want to do that if you are at work. Good luck.
