You could try putting on a pad or panty liner and laying down for a half hour or so. Amniotic fluid pools in the vagina so when you sit up you may feel a little gush/spill and the pad will be wet (even if you don't feel the gush/spill, the pad should still be wet when you sit up). Another way to tell is that urine smells of amonia, like a sharp smell, while amniotic fluid smells sweeter (some people think it smells like Comet cleaner). If you're in any doubt whatsoever though you should call your doctor or your hospital. They can do a really fast test to check, takes literally two minutes. If your water has broken they'll need to monitor you for infection if labour doesn't start soon. If it hasn't broken then at least you know you're good. The staff aren't going to laugh at you if it's not your water, you wouldn't be the first lady to be mistaken and you certainly won't be the last. My sister didn't realise her water had broken and thought she kept leaking pee. We kept telling her to call the hospital but she wouldn't because she was embarrassed. Three days later she had a temperature that was through the roof, chills, and one hell of a nasty infection. She had to be induced (luckily she was 39 weeks so baby was fine) and spent three days on an anti-biotic drip. Better safe than sorry I say. Best of luck and I hope everything is ok.

Your probably just leaking urine since it is happening after you go to the bathroom. If it was amniotic fluid then it would be a constant flow of fluid not like peeing but more like you would have to wear a pad or you would look like you peed in your pants. Good luck!

I would imagine its just urine. Your uterus might be sitting just right on your bladder and causing you to leak a little bit.
That, and it could just be natural lubrication fluids. Your produce more when you're pregnant, and even more as the pregnancy goes on. Enough at times to wet your undies and feel unpleasant. I know its gross, but its happened to all the pregnant women ive known.
I really doubt that you'd be leaking all this time without some sort of other problem or issue presenting itself. Something else would have to feel wrong, and i dont think leaking amniotic sac could survive for day after day.
Iam going to guess its either urine or vaginal fluids.

When I was leaking amniotic fluid it felt like I was peeing and couldn't stop it, it did it again two more times like that then the third time I had blood, which the hospital told me was normal as long as it wasn't allot, maybe if you sit on the toilet a bit and let you do it in there if it does without taking all day then look and see if you see yellow or clear in the toilet that was how I figured it out.

If it was amniotic fluid it would be a constant leaking. It's probably just urine since it's right after you go the bathroom.

When my water broke, I thought I'd peed! And it did not have any distinct smell; pee doesn't always smell, you know...so if you're worried, ask your doctor. It's the safest way to know; don't try to figure it out at home because if you're wrong and it is not urine, it's amniotic fluid and you stay home because of it, you might put your baby in danger unknowingly. Not trying to scare you, trust me, I just would rather you go in for a false alarm than stay home when you should've gone in. Congrats on your baby!

i'd go to the hospital. They want you there if you are leaking fluid, and they can test to make sure- that's what happened to me, it was just a trickle. I thought I had peed, but not... so when I went to the restroom, and was done, and stood up, it still trickled some. Soon after, I had horrible contractions to where I couldn't stand up or do anything. Even if it's not fluid, I'd go get it looked at, so they can tell you for sure.

It's probably urine. Fluid drips frequently throughout the day not a few times a day. Do kegal exercises.

Try doing some toe touches and some stretching. If it slowly trickles out, it could be fluid. Especially if you just went to use the bathroom.

The best advice I could give you...being a mommy of a premature infant..(born at 25 weeks gestation) is If you have any questions or are scared in ANY way call your Doctor or the labor and delivery floor of the hospital you are delivering in... Because everyones body is different...What was normal for one woman might be way out of the norm. for the next.... Congrats. on the baby!!!
