what about a website designer, or design commericals and advertisements? Or you can go to a big company like Apple or IBM and work in their design department.

If you have a knack for graphic design there is now a school owned and operated by Pixar, the company who made the movie Toy Story. It is an on line program which you can get a student loan for and there is job placement within Pixar. It teaches you how to do CGI animation....cool stuff and it pays a little more than just graphic design.

I am currently trying for computer network administration. I am not sure how high the pay scale goes but I know its needed just about everywhere. I once knew a net admin that worked for the military taking care of a battalion's network that earned about $60K per year. This guy was not at the top of the food chain either. There were other net admins with a lot more responsibilities such as overseeing the US Military networks for the entire Germany Region. These guys probably earn over $100K per year.
