I just read all the other answers to this question. I CANNOT (shouting) believe these people think you can't spell. I am hoping I am correct. You did mean to ask this question in this manner?

Answer to your question: You can place children in a "scene" and they can be "seen" at the same time. Children make themselves "heard" but they are difficult to "herd" while on the playground.

Yes: the 'scene' should be

they are all rounded up into a 'herd,' then herded into a place where they can be ‘seen’ but cannot be ‘heard.’

Do I get extra points for spotting the deliberating smelling pistakes you placed hear? :-)

They should be herded up and driven across the american prairies as from a scene in a cowboy movie. That would teach the little swine.

do you mean seen and not heard as in Victorian time yes think they had a point of view sometimes I wish but sometimes no but a compromise would be welcome ... if its a scene yes we get plenty of that and as to herd yes that to get them a shepherd now OK small ha ha
