How do I deal with annoying co-workers that have nothing better then to gossip about everyone and anything?

Stay away if you can or bring head phones in and listen to music while you are at work. They should get the point if this doesnt work then try asking her nicely to shut the !#$% up.

Just as soon as they start to gossip, go do something else or steer the conversation elsewhere. Eventually they will not do it so much when they are talking to you because you never satisfy their need of talking behind other peoples backs. They just want someone to agree with them and tell them that they are right.

Well to be honest I am the type of person to confront, it is not business appropriate and you are not in high school anymore. If you feel you cannot approach this person then ignore it, show you are better than that!

I ignore it and stay away from it. Those who talk about others talk about you when your not around. Its very unprofessional to get into that kind of thing. You cant make them stop so you just have to take yourself out of it.
