I have had several bosses who were Oxford graduates and they were all delightful, charming and kind individuals as well as being very able. Thinking of the many Oxford graduates with whom I've had working relationships, I can't single out a single individual with whom I failed to get on. Could it possibly be you?

I think i read somewhere that they have butlers... surely being a student is all about making your own beans on toast after a night on the tiles.
Of course i may have been dreaming!
So to answer your question, they're awful because they're used to people running after them...
But i don't even know if they're awful because i've never met one!

I don't think that they are any different than anybody else. Jugding from your question i assume that your personal experience has not been a pleasant one, but I would disagree with that kind of generalization.
