Is this the finest hour for British socialism/social democracy?

Regrettably, Tony Blair, for some unfathomable reason, against the wishes of many in his government and of the overwhelming majority of people in the UK, decided to follow GWBs poorly thought-out policy and invade Iraq. He was thus partly responsible for unleashing not only the destructive force of western military power, but also played a part in stirring up the simmering hatred of America that lies in the hearts of so many Muslims. As a result of his decisions, he certainly did assist in destabilising Iraq, indirectly caused the deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqis (and a high proportion of Coalition troops), and has caused the wrath of certain Muslim fundamentalist groups to become focused on the UK. Not a very good legacy (though trivial compared with GWBs).

properly the tale has been ongoing notwithstanding the authentic situation began contained in the previous due 70s . in the course of the previous due 70s early 80s left wing extremists in protest communities ( SWP , ANL , now UAF ) and unions and native authorities and maximum heavily the media , created the parable that to be patriotic or anti immigration meant you've been racist . This marketing campaign of intimidation develop into so efficient that the silent majority ( center England ) were fairly actually terrified into silence and immigration develop into persisted unchecked . It develop right into a properly concept out plan because it performed on our personal custom , the British are very tolerant and open minded and did not elect to be labelled racist , regrettably in hardship-free words a handful of use stated what develop into occurring and we were marginalized through the left wing press . in the course of the Thatcher years immigration persisted at an alarming price because the capitalist equipment required it . that's more competitively priced to shop an indigenous lower than classification on advantages than pay them a residing salary or cap rents and so on . third international immigrants from international places the position you artwork or starve , will artwork 3 or 4 jobs on minimum salary , deliver lots of the money abode and stay to inform the tale rice and beans . even as New Labour took skill they in actuality persisted with a similar capitalist regulations , they basically extra a good number of quangos and pc jobs and so on and so on contained in the ineffective attempt to look Socialist to their hoodwinked supporters . in addition they actively inspired more and more immigration because the had to stay in skill and they knew immigrants might want to vote for them . Tony Blaire also signed the treaty of Amsterdam which handed administration of our boarders to Brussels . You requested why , properly that is why , mass immigration from the coming up international into the more desirable international is a planned global coverage . Mass immigration is designed to damage nationwide id , create disharmony , and finally spoil society . each and every of the old efficient international places must be damaged so that they are going to be a lot less stressful to absorb right into a unmarried international dictatorship . once the more desirable international has been enslaved the coming up international will persist with ( incredibly it already is managed through the banks ) .

The Labour Party no longer exists. "New Labour" is more akin to the Democrats in the USA while the Conservatives are more like the Republicans, although they would prefer also to be viewed as Democrats. The fact is there is no longer a socialist working mans' political party. It's all about the ruling elite maintaining their hold on power.
Boy does that all sound Marxist or what!!

Not soley but along with America and Israel Britain has done a good job of destablising the world. It's no worse than it has been in the past though. We did have two world wars last century culminating in nuclear bombs being dropped not to mention the cold war!

Umm . . . .

Sorry to break it to you but British Labour or "New Labour" as they like to call themselves have about as much similarity to real Socialists as Britney Spears has to a brain surgeon.

ie none.

Tony and his Cronies are a joke. They call themselves "Labour" but if you saw the misery some of the working people of Britain are living in you'd see that they have no real socialist policies or indeed any concern about the working class. They are too busy sending their kids to expensive private schools and driving around in their Two Jags (like that fat **** Prescott) to care about homeless families and people living on the breadline.

Aneurin Bevan would be spinning in his grave. He was a REAL socialist. Sadly his type are long gone.

As are strong leaders like Churchill. Not a Socialist at all (he and Bevan were always at loggerheads) but at least he brought some pride to this country. Pride is something we're not allowed to have these days.

Blair Blair Blah Blah Boo Hoo bullshitter extrordinair. I wish he and his merry band of thieves called the slave labour party, would go and f*ck off as far away from politics as is sub-humanly possible. Total waste of time effort and money. Wankers to a man.

Absolutely. The way Britain under Tony Blair has forsaken its thinking power for the Bush ignorance is just amazing. I just wonder how proud do the English feel abt their country now.

What?

When did they do this?

I knew they were crap but surely Prescott didn't manage that with all his croquet and secretary shagging to do.

Anyway NEW Labour has absolutely nothing to do with socialism of any kind. They are watered down middle of the road conservatives.
