hi..i lived in Brazil for 25 years...down south...Nov will be Hot anywhere in Brazil...forget the Amazon which is just a big river and lots of mosquitos and trees...go south to Parana state to see the iguacu water falls...tremendous!! huge!! best in the world!!
then on to visit Santa Catarina state and florianopolis the state
capital with loads of wonderful beaches...if you've got pounds
you won't find anything in Brazil expensive...you'll have to travel around by plane...get a pass...just hang on to your stuff...
cameras...money...anything or it'll disappear quicktime!!
Brazil...wonderful place...friendly people...smarter than us!!
booking trips is probably possible at the hotel you'll be staying at in Salvador...if you insist on going to the amazon...i'm sure they can help you or direct you to an agency...don't go alone
good trip..have fun...keep safe
there are lots of kind of jungle lodges you can stay in the the Amazon...some quite posh
again your hotel can probably help you

Nathan is correct. You would be hitting the start of the rainy season. With whom to book your trip depends on what you want to do and your budget. I suggest that you do some initial research to better understand your options. You might want to start with the link below.
