It's clean up time, between this election and two years from now,we can replace almost all of the 535 members of Congress, that should send a message to shape up,and do the will of the people,or your out of there.

Everyone should vote against the incumbent every time they come up for election until politicians remember they are in Washington to represent their constituents... not their party and not the corporations, special interests and lobbyists that donate to the DNC and RNC.

This has been a poor Congress. I do not believe any important issues were resolved, or even any progress made on them.

Immigration Reform, Election Reform, Ethics reforms, Health Care Reform, Budget Reform, Intelligence Reform, etc. Nothing done by congress. Might as well have just had them stay home for the 2 years, and save us taxpayers the operating costs and travel expenses of Congress.

Well, we can only replace 1/3 of the Senate, but it would be good for starters. The polls show a very strong anti-incumbant trend.

Amen, I think I like 2 of 'em...Obama, and Hillary (though sometimes she reminds me of Meryl Streep's character in Manchurian Candidate) I hope that guy from Orleans gets the spot in New York's 19th, you gotta love a guy with a sense of humor (he was on the Colbert Report)

no, but the reason is twofold. the main reason is the media. it is a bigger business now than ever. because they have to stay on top of their racket, they are working harder to get every piece of smut and scandal(sad we never hear the good news, because its not news) on the news. i would bet politicians are playing it a lot safer, because there is way more risk of bad press now than ever, plus the fear of the omnipotent govt. is all but gone. so not only is more existing and previously existing info now available, but because of that, politicians play it safe.
