You could do little in a month, and little as President because you need the House of Rep. and the Senate to pass anything.

However, if things could be done I would want to find a solution to healthcare, pass stronger immigration laws, and find someway to get rid of some of the red tape that plagues everything!

This is the problem. We, as a nation want the quick fix, while our problems are complex and require thought, debate and effort to solve. You can't accomplsih much in a month, but border control would be a nice place to start. Repealing NCLB would be a great victory. Banning the death penalty would be an aim of mine (and not because I think those "people's" lives are valuable-they aren't--I just want to spend the very least amount of money possible on them, and killing them costs way way more than keeping them in jail forever--sad but true).

Presidents never pass bills. Congress passes them. The President can sign or veto them.

What can you accomplish in a month in Congree? Not much.

I would suspend habeas corpus faster than my new secretary could have me a fresh cup of coffee and charge a lot of liberals, to include a few judges, with treason.
Then I'd tell my generals to start acting like Generals and start fighting like men.
Then I'd drop a wake up call on North Korea and Tehran from 30,000 feet.
Then I'd really have a mission accomplished party.

the first would be to strictly enforce our immigration laws, the second would be to change our welfare system, thirdly overhaul the IRS in particular the tax exempt entities that are influencing politics....doesn't seem to be much in our government that doesn't deserve a second look! Corruption within our government has gone unchecked for so many years it may take more than 30 days!

I would probally try to get homeless off the street since there are hundreds of thousands of empty houses i would try to make it so that they all get filled and that everyone gets food but like they said in dune "Only a fool covets power without appreciating its delicate uses or fearing its inherent perils"

I would accelerate the fence on the border and I would more heavily enforce the laws in regards to treason in this nation. Deserters would be shot. This is a all volunteer force, so there is no excuse for desertion. I would give the liberals their nationalized medicine, but I would tax only the liberals. They would have to go only to government approved medical facilities. We would establish it like the VA. This should get them off that ridiculous kick once and for all.

I will just drop the bills and let 'em slide. I will also give homeless people/people in need homes and make sure discrimination is dropped everywhere. But that's just my imagination of a better place, not like it will ever happen
