Patience, understanding and empathy and compassion. Situations are not always as the appear, no matter how flat you make a pancake it still has two sides, put your self in another shoes before hasty judgments and opinions are made. I have learned to never take someone you love for granted. I have made a promise to myself, I will never be that person saying, if only I told them how I feel, one last time. I tell my family and friends how very much I love them and how thankful that I am to have them in my life. And the meaning of family isn't just about blood, it is beyond that.

This probably isn't the major lesson, but worth knowing anyway. When I was younger, acquiring "things" seemed to take up a lot of my energy. Tasteful furniture, nice cars, Christmas decorations, etc. etc. Now that I'm older...getting rid of all the "junk" seems to take up much of my energy. Believe it or not, less is more...and people don't like you more because of tasteful Christmas decorations. Spend your energy loving the people in your life, that's what is most fulfilling, meaningful, and makes life worthwhile.

I've learnt that every human-being on earth has an assignment and a purpose to fulfil and you can only fulfil it by the type of friends you make, where you go,what you often hear and see(watch) ,being focused and most importantly knowing that you have to live a fulfilled life here on earth and have not to disappoint your creator.I have to impact peoples life positively so that when i am not there,i'll not be a history but make one.Be an original copy and the best of whom you are and not a second copy, lastly do not trust on man but solely rely on God.

Be happy with what you have and count your blessings every day. Don't be quick to judge people, everyone has their own story-try to think of what it would be like to walk in their shoes. Treasure each day you have to spend with the people you love, because life is so short. Do your best to help when you can, it may be you that needs help next time. And definately think before you speak! Wonderful question, by the way! :)
