this is just my beliefs but it seems the actual people in control is businesses from everywhere. it looks like america is going bankrupt which is what the terrorist want.people can't afford insurance, drugs are impossible to get because employers can no longer pay high costs for their employees, people all over are losing their jobs, while billions are being sent all over plus to keep the war going.our own homeland security doesn't pass the tests and our paychecks do not cover cost of living. the internet is a smart way to get we the people to take control, such as not buying gas from citgo because the owner wants us to go bankrupt. hurray for seven eleven for getting rid of their citgo stations. i don't want to be rich, i just want to be able to pay my bills on time and maybe drive a car thats good on gas and actually has a whole floor. iam i wrong in my thinking

I wake up to Corporate America every morning. It's how it is. We can't say George Orwell didn't warn us. Most people thought he was talking about Communism exclusively.

"everything" has gotten bigger over the years, from government to our credit card max limits. Things "used to be" a lot easier to take in years past.

The idea of one world government has the idea of equalizing what money is worth all over the world so that everyone can deal with everyone else on an equal basis. I don't approve, but that's what's happening.

If there is a bankruptcy it's because we're in debt because of the Iraq war. And, the terrorists want a Democrat in the whitehouse, so are you going to vote Republican? And isn't it amazing that with all the problems US people face, that US still keeps its head above water?

I kinda wonder if you were just venting or if we were supposed to respond to you.

I did wake up to corporate America--this morning. I had a cup of coffee and watched some news, paid some bills, jumped in the shower, dressed, and drove my car to work.

People who woke up in socialist China, Zimbabwe, North Korea, and Iran woke up to the stench of sewers that don't work and the sounds of screaming dissidents being hauled off to never be seen again. They swatted flies instead of showering, they put on the same rag they wore yesterday and ventured out into crime filled streets to look for handouts.

I'll take Corporate America anyday where even the subpar public schools teach students to spell Corporate.

business controls the government right now. and i think it has since about right after we became a country. i think what needs to happen is to just calm down and see what needs to be done to jump start our economy again before we fall into another depression.

You are not wrong in your thinking. It's capitalism run amuck out there. It's greed pure and simple. Corporate greed fueled by neo-con bush bots. And no, people will not wake up to it because they are being kept numb with their ipods, video games, nascar etc.Greed and ignorance are ruining this country.
