I'm a pisces (a water sign like cancer), and I once dated an aries, supposedly notorious for attention seeking & getting their own way, but he was the least typical aries I've ever met.
Our relationship lasted 3 very lovely years which makes me think that although the zodiac may creep in & influence a little bit, a lot also has to do with the compatability of your characters etc.
What happens is ultimately down to you & your partner & how well you match each other, not how well your star signs match which are broader and can relate to most people.

Well, you have some luck there, same Zodiac signs and similar personalities and ideas. Well, I have no idea, I don't believe in superstition. However, since he's clearly into long-term relationships and you're not, just dump him. On the next date tell him that you're not into the marriage thing and end the relationship in a civil way, bleh. I don't blame you. However, I think most men in his age group are into long term relationships so you shouldn't blame it all on the sign.

I'm an aries and it's irrelevant. Compatibility is more than just signs and indicators perceived by interstellar/interplanetary and 'sign' characteristics.
I get along grandly with a lot of 'cancers' but I don't put any store in astrology ... I just think it's interesting to read my horoscope for amusement.
I have met those in my travels who strongly disagree with me, however.

I am a cancer and my hubby is on the cusp of aries/taurus We get along great most times. We argue a lot but its never serious enough.
If you are extra hard core cancer expect to feel lonely or left out once in a while. But once you get to knwo them and their habits and their underlying reasons they are hard to resist.

aries & cancer will work. aries are stubborn & strong willed & like to take risks. they are also very passionate so you have to work hard to keep up..

well good u know dat- they r square signs which leads o some fricion. ur both cardinal signs- always wanin 2 start new things. maybe 1 or both wil want 2 cheat. alho d res of d chart maters also.
