I personally do not feel like there are any advantages of being a policeman. You risk your life and you get paid hardly nothing for it. Being a singer is having to deal with the public and your whole life will be on tv pretty much.

Besides those already mentioned, a big advantage to being a police officer (or firefighter) is the pension. At least in the major cities, one can retire after 20 years and still receive a large portion of their salary each year.
The advantages of being a singer are sex, drugs, booze, fame, etc. Those are probably also the disadvantages.

LOL here we call police stations as fatherinlaws house maavana mane.. well call a policeman 'maava' now if the above is the case calling him maava is alright but it would be ironical to go to 'maavana mane' incase of a dowry harrasment charges.

you mean besides breaking the speed limit eating free around your beat not having to wait in line and running stops signs and lights well as for being a singer as long as you dont have any addictive tendencies you may far well

donut breaks and getting to ride around all day. Low pay and you get to dodge bullets from criminal.
Singing career is dog eat dog and hard to make a living.
