Why is there discrimination between people of the same country but different in color or race?

Because of fear and ignorance. People fear what they don't understand. A different race often means a different culture even in the same neighbor. Racism is ignorance and fear at it's worst.

In the US there is such discrimination against the "white" people that there are often quotas where people have to hire lesser qualified people (black) sometimes in order to keep peace. The white race is highly discriminated against in the United States. Blacks get everything free and we, the white and American Indians, have to pay to get the same things. Blacks claim such discrimination, but they have never seen half the discrimination as has been against the American Indian. They could own their own land many, many years before my ancestors could. They were free while my ancestors were consigned to a reservation.
