samsung usb - i have a cable and software but i cannot seme to get the phone to connect -?

i bought the cable kit and cd from accusation on ebay - i cannot get it to connect to the samsung software. its a sgh x427m

Check to see if the software is compatible with your phone and that it's updated.

If those apply, uninstall and reinstall the software.

Then, turn off and then turn on your phone. Then connect it to your pc. All this may seem obvious, but sometimes rebooting can help.

If none of those work, it could be a driver issue with the software. Google the software and contact the manufacturer.
