Have you heard of "the necklace by guy de maupassant"? Either way, do u know where to find stories that make you wanna say "HOW STUPID." or say "what the hell?!" or "*&^#&*!^!&*" =)
Or maybe a story that makes you think of "2nd meanings" but then...it's actually an innocent one? I'm looking for stories with amusing endings..HELP ME! ^_^

O. Henry originally developed the twisted ending. In fact, it's called an "O. Henry twist". I suggest you start by looking for his stories at www.gutenberg.com. "The Gift of the Magi" is an excellent example of his work. "The Ransom of Red Chief" is another.
More recently, Isaac Asimov wrote several amusing shorts that appear in his short story collections. I remember one about giant aunts, but can't recall the title.
