Please don't jump to conclusions before you really take a close look at yourself and honestly evaluate your job performance. It does still happen, but racism may not be the reason you didn't get a raise.
As for suing--you better have a good case and lots of proof before you go running to a lawyer.
at work:
do you arrive on time?
are you well groomed and follow the dress code?
do you speak proper english and have a polite attitude?
are you dependable?
do you focus on your job and leave your personal life at home?
are you respectful to your boss and coworkers--no matter how you feel about them personally?
do you complain and whine about the job while you're there?
Finally, everybody isn't racist and you can't blame everything in your life on it! It is a crutch for you and it will keep you from achieving your goals in life. Attitude is everything and a bad one will suffocate you.

Performance is the key. If race is the issue in USA, then USA would be behind Europe due to their racist attitude and look at their economys going down.
USA has been able to attract the best from the world is all because the societies here are relatively quite fair and balanced and reward merit. Believe me.
The top 3 Finance companies here in Wall Street are headed by African Americans ? So...

I highly doubt it had anything to do with your race. Are there other people in your work place of difference race? Did they not get a raise either? If so, then perhaps there's a way you can band together to confront him. IF they did get a raise then it definitely had nothing to do with color of your skin. It most likely had to do with your performance. If you have a bad attitude in the work place or are rude or don't get the work done you're asked to do they really look down on that. Change the way you see things and see things through the eyes of your co-workers you'll realize it's not about race. Not everyone is racist and to accuse someone of that, one has to wonder if you're a racist as well.
I wish you good luck and a change of attitude in how you perceive things.
Good luck

For one thing, what are dawgz? If your referring to the animals ( mans best friend) than you mean dogs. And even if thats what you meant we are nobody;s dogs, we are men and women.
Now about your question. You may not have gotten a raise because of the way you present yourself in the workplace and outside of work.
Your boss doesn't have to give you a raise. A raise is a gift that is given to you for your hard work, dedication and demeanor. I seriously doubt you have any of those.

somebody "accidentaly" decrease in front of somebody and your boss advised them to get to the lower back. nicely if all people else grew to become into reducing and the black guy grew to become into the only one yelled at then it may be racist. yet maximum persons could say something whilst somebody cuts somebody who isn't basically elderly yet at a party for that elderly guy. The black mighta concept it grew to become into racist that he grew to become into advised to pass to the lower back via fact till now the civil rights stream blacks continually had to sit down interior the lower back of the boss yet i doubt thats the case. If somebody randomly calls somebody a racist merely via fact they disagree which includes your opinion and that they are of a various race then you definitely are in lots of cases combating with a fool and theres no evaluate combating with them. So your boss pronounced so what via fact he didnt prefer to combat with a fool.
