My brother (30 something) uses the world "Hero" to describe people that are being smart-ar$es. I think it is disrespectful to true Heros. My 6 year old son uses the word "Gangsta" to describe the other 6 year olds that bring their toy cars or trading cards to school when they are not allowed too.
Are there any slang words that annoy you?

'totally,' 'pimpin' somethin to that extent. I hate ditzy chick talk.....damn that's annoying. And sometimes the ebonics go overboard at times, it's like they need to overexaggerate it to the point you can't understand a damn thing they're saying, or it just sounds stupid.

Yes! In Britain today the language is truly awful. We have picked up all the worse words from America like ass and ****** to descibe a bottom and a homosexual man. And we shout out annoying Hollywood film catchphrases for no reason (well i don't personally) Blame TV, films and gangsta rap for the decline in our lamguage. Your brother probably uses the word "Hero" because he heard it on TV or something. We also use words like genius far too often so everyone's a genius nowadays. Or a legend. Grrrrrr!

it extremely is not slang. despite the fact that if it extremely is not spectacular calling older men paedophiles merely via fact they're having a communique with youthful girls. E.g. instructor and pupil. it extremely is not spectacular to apply that word once you do no longer honestly know what it skill.

Yeah - the word PIMP. When did it become cool to be a pimp? Do the children, teenagers and young adults who use this term really know what a true pimp is? Do they know the violence and degragation associated with that type of lifestyle? There are others that annoy me like '******, ***** and *****,' but the term pimp does more than annoy me, it concerns me.

I find those who use the word "awesome" to describe anything of a positive nature to be somewhat annoying.

I hate when people say "whatup" or use the word "bling" liberally in their discussions. I also can't stand "have a booya day" because I don't even know what it means!

I hate the term "a hot mess" to describe someone who maybe shows up looking like a hooker at a church function. They say "She looked a hot mess." God that drives me crazy.

"Gangsta" is one! Plus, people that can't pronounce words like nature intended, like a lot of the "gangsta speak". Plus, putting 2 people's (generally celebrities) names together and making them one, such as "Bennifer" and "Brangelina"......JFC!!!!!
