you would have to either train as a beauty therapist. or alternativly you may be able to get an aprentise position where you can train and work at the same time in doing beauty. unfortunatly you really need to be trained to be able to work in beauty as there are always people that owners can hire. check out this website though if you are going to train as it has cheap beauty stuff and helpful for your exams

Everything calls for experience and the best way you can get it, is to humble yourself to working for free. Volunteer at your local beauty store in work in the area as an assistant or cleaning the display boxes or unpacking the beauty products or checking the inventory of the beauty products....anything that will keep you close enough to observe first and then eventually help with that kind of job that you seek. There are lots of books and info on the internet. Get the knowlege befor you practice and observe before you do the actual work so when you sart getting the experience it will come naturally and people will observe that. Get those people to give you a reference and within a year or two you will be ready to do your consulting with someone else and really get paid for it.

You could start by trying to get a job in one of the upscale stores in the make-up departments. You could try to join a direct sales organization like Mary Kay or Arbon.. they will train.. or go take some classes at the community college or beauty school in your area.. If you are especially gifted naturally just ask someone to give you a shot.. tell them you will do a free trial period.

You would have to do a college course, which you can do days or evenings. Or you might even get an apprentiship in a Beauty place which is worth it in the long run.
