my ex boyfriend and I are trying to be friends. but he treats me like crap sometimes, for a while we were together all the time, but then when he went back to college, he turned into a complete ***. he recently forgot my birthday, and now one of his new friend's birthday is coming up and he seems to be so psyched about getting them a gift. Is it over-dramatic of me to mention that I had to remind him that it was my birthday just 2 weeks ago and that he didn't get me anything at all? should i even try to be friends with him any more?

This happened to me! One of my best guy friends- who would freak out if I forgot his, totally forgot my 21st birthday this year (I had to tell him about it last year). I didn't say anything to him about it, I just won't tell him "Happy birthday" when his rolls around. It wouldn't be over dramatic- if your already a dramatic person, but don't trip. Guys are like that sometimes. Just remember the situation, and don't get him anything on his day. Plus, you can act like you don't know when it is, too. Or, you can be a bigger friend/person, and tell him "happy birthday," but no gifts or cards!

Don't even try to be friends. He has obviously has moved on and wants you to do the same. He is probably too chicken to tell you that. You will look like a crazy woman if you keep trying to make something happen here when he clearly is treating you like dirt. If you like being treated dirt, keep playing this game with him. Otherwise, look for a better man.

I would never forget someone's birthday i cared about..... hes mean but remind him about ur birthday give him a chnch if it dosent work out BLOW HIM OFF!!!!

Sounds like he is very self-centered when it comes to you. I say find a way to 'forget' him and see how he likes it. If he doesn't care, then really forget about him and find someone new. You deserve to feel special in a relationship.

Obviously hes not worth being freinds with he cant remember your birthday? what is that about??! and he didnt get you anything id just let it go and tell him to go be freinds iwth someone else! HOW RUDE!!!
