better in a worse way... what I mean is, there are circumstances that are better now, but they became that way because of stuff that I regret or wish I could change. Makes no sense, but I'm trying not to reveal too much personal info.

Life is a fluctuating process. At this point, in many areas, my life is better than it was 10 years ago. I live much more comfortably, make more money, marriage is happy, I have a home, and a 74 inch plasma screen tv…yeah all that is better. Some things are the same: I was in college 10 years ago…and here I am again. Some things are worse: I have 40 extra pounds that just won’t leave me alone, I struggle to keep my multiple sclerosis under control (I didn’t have that 10 years ago), I am trapped on Yahoo answers and I can’t get out…
Its all a crapshoot really.

Eh its better I guess...Ten years ago I was only 13, which meant that I didnt have as many responsibilities as I do now but it did come with the whole awkward adolescent years so I would definitely say now is better, I am in college, have great friends and a beautiful daughter and am a lot wiser and more self-assured. And also with the responsibilities that i have now, I have more freedom and do not have to answer to anyone except myself...

It's a 50/50 thing. Some things are better, some are not. But then again, nothing can be perfect, so I just deal with what life throws my way and make the best of it.â¥

BETTER! not only am I now approximately a decade and half POST (after) Divorce (from a violent abusive ex), but I am FINALLY an Empty-Nesting Single -- no more damage/destruction in my home, no more dealing with individuals with Mental Illnesses, no more trying to figure out where the problems are in the home (counting sharps, try to find the matches and lighters they got from their 'friends'), no more being called nasty names, no more thefts from my purse, no more being assaulted/battered, and now ... this Retiree can FINALLY pick up the home, throw out the stuff that the (now adult) kids hoarded (but don't want), and ... most importantly, I CAN FIX and REPAIR myself everything that these have damaged/destroyed in MY HOME -- because I NEED To in order to age in place.
