I was just wondering. Each and every time I make those I always jump when it "pops", I mean I know it's coming but I always jump. Just wanted to know how many others did the same.

lol......I've been jumping to the pop of the biscuit can since I was a kid........like you said, you know it's coming, but you still jump.

Finally! Someone who admits to this. I thought I was the only one on earth who jumps back after opening those stupid rolls. My friend was in my kitchen one day and I told her to open the roll package because they scare me. She looked at me like I was crazy.

Same here..when i put bread in the toaster..and i know that its gonna come with a popping sound..even then i jump..its inborn honey!

It's weird. You KNOW it's going to pop out, and when it does, it makes you jump.

I try to prepare myself for the POP so I don't jump.

You know it is going to happen..... but it still startles you. It's like you get ready for it to happen at the precise moment you shut your eyes.but it either happens 2 or 3 seconds before or after you have prepared yourself!! Do we think it is going to knock our eyes out?? TOO FUNNY!!!
